Qatari Ambassador attends first top-level juridical meeting between Qatar and China

H.E. Mr. Mohamed Al-Dehaimi, the Ambassador of the State of Qatar to China, participated in the first top-level juridical meeting hosted online between Qatar and China on June 23, 2021.

The heavyweights of the meeting also included H.E. Dr. Hassan Lahdan Saqr Al Mohannadi, the Chairman of the Qatari Supreme Judiciary Council and the President of the Court of Cassation, H.E. Mr. Zhou Qiang, President and Chief Justice of the Supreme People’s Court of People’s Republic of China (PRC) and H.E. Mr. Zhou Jian, the Ambassador of the Embassy of  PRC to the State of Qatar.

While stressing the significance of the session during his video address, H.E. Mr. Dehaimi pointed out that the meeting was organized based on the framework to cement cooperation, extend exchange in view of juridical experiences from both sides and highlight the role for both in enhancing and expanding juridical development.

According to H.E. Mr. Dehaimi, the judicial cooperation, with the improvement of judicial professionalism in particular, from both sides, dovetails the targets of both countries, which are expected to develop their already friendly relations into even closer ties so that both will welcome to a brighter future, thanks to their dedication to the judicial cooperative framework.

The ambassador also stressed that the Embassy of the State of Qatar in Beijing will intensify their efforts to build the bridge for the judicial cooperation between the two countries so as to meet the expectations of all parts, involving legal professionalism in particular. He also underscored that Qatar will implement the digitalization of judicial work by learning from China’s professional knowledge and experiences in fields of commercial judicial, IT application and software development.
