After announcement of setting up diplomatic relations between Qatar and the People’s Republic of China on 9th July, 1988, there took place inauguration of the Qatari Embassy in Beijing 1989. The first Qatari ambassador in the People’s Republic of China was His Excellency Mohammed Saad Alfahid and his successors were His Excellency Abdalrahman Bin Mohammed Alkhalifi, His Excellency Mohammed Abdallah Al Abdalghani, His Excellency Salih Abdallah Abu alainain, His Excellency Abdallah Abdalrahman Almiftah and His Excellency Hamad Bin Mohammed Al Khalifa, His Excellency Sultan Bin Salmeen Almansuri. And the current ambassador is Mohamed Al-Dehaimi.
