H.E. Mr. Mohamed Al-Dehaimi, Qatari  Ambassador to China, recently met with Mr. Shi Lei, the Chief Executive Officer of Chengdu Industry Investment Co Ltd, at the headquarter of the conglomerate.

H.E. stressed the importance of the cooperation in terms of industry and investment between Qatar and China and highlighted that as one of the world’s hugest Sovereign Wealth Funds owners, Qatar has played a significant role in global projects.

Both sides also discussed on the opportunities to push forward their cooperation on the projects that are supposed to cover various sectors, such as infrastructure construction and environmental protection. 

They also accentuated China’s Belt and Road Initiative and Qatar’s National Vision 2030, which are essential to be integrated  to their joint projects benefitting both from Qatar’s prominent energy resources and China’s professional experiences in energy sectors.
