H.E. Mr. Mohamed Abdulla Al-Dehaimi, the Ambassador of the State of Qatar to China, met with H.E. Siddharth Chatterjee, the resident coordinator of the United Nations in China, on April 12, 2021, at the Embassy of the State of Qatar in Beijing.

During the meeting, following Mr. Ambassador’s firm commitment to Qatar’s stanch support to UN, both sides shed light on the potential cooperation in the field of education, from which H.E. Al-Dehaimi underscored the significance of his country’s “Education above All” initiative.

Both of them believed that the initiative has been playing an increasingly important role in empowering younger generations with improved competence to boost the achievements of sustainable development goals, especially when the challenge caused by the pandemic of COVID-19 remains facing the world.
